I must admit, the main reason why I haven't blogged in a while is because it finally got SUNNY! It's actually been really hot - in the 90's the past few days - so I've been outside and at the beach every free moment I get. Talloires is getting more and more crowded with vacationers. Our private little beach isn't so private anymore! Pics to come...
On Thursday I organized a murder mystery dinner for the faculty here, complete with costumes, character roles, and a three course meal. It was absolutely hilarious! The professor's got sooooo into it, to the point where they were revealing cleavage, pretending to be popping pills, sharing secret love affairs, etc. Everyone was obnoxious and happy. It was great.
Last night was the famed "Fete de la Musique" or Music Festival in the city of Annecy (20 minutes away on the curviest mountain roads you can imagine). A few of us interns went in and had a great time. We mainly hung out by a sweet reggae/hip-hop DJ who mixed up some sweet dancin music. There were thousands upon thousands of people!
This is the last week of the Tufts in Talloires program, so we're trying to finish things off with them and prepare for the upcoming groups. Tonight is a big reception for all of the host families, and I need to go make tons of hors d'heuvres! Catch you later!
